Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an Office Junior Administrator for a monthly basis rolling contract on a rate of £12.33/hour PAYE. Thie role will be onsite with working hours of Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. This contract will start immediately with Interviews being held on Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd February 2024 with the view of starting on Monday 5th February this is on a Monthly rolling basis.Responsibilities:- To provide effective administrative assistance. - Assist with the processing of new referrals, maintenance of files and records and ensuring accurate data input to facilitate business processes. - Working with the Case Administrators, provide timely responses to general enquiries from our main stakeholders. - In collaboration with the Case Administrators, produce and distribute accurate standardized reports generated. - Support the colleagues with diary management, scheduling online meetings, room bookings and other general administrative duties - To raise requisitions through the Finance system to support the activities and smooth operation of the team - To undertake all necessary administrative support in relation to effective delivery of the Code of Student Conduct - To work as part of a professional multi-skilled team and to contribute to the delivery of the processes that support the team in times of team members' absence. Essential Skills:- Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework Level 7 (Advanced Higher/Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 3, Higher National Certification) or equivalent and experience of personal development in a similar role - Strong IT knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Office Packages - Good organisational and time management skills and an ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload, acting calmly and methodically ensure that deadlines are met. - Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to interact positively with others in person using tact, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality as appropriate - Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) - Familiarity with MS Teams, SharePoint, Zoom - Proven analytical and problem solving skills. - Able to work proactively, multi-task and to use initiative as part of an extended team. - Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change - Excellent attention to accuracy and detail. - Relevant administrative experience gained through relevant work experience in a busy office environment. - Experience of administrative support processes, including the collation and monitoring of a range of data.
