About the Role
Our ideal candidate will be a confident problem solver, have a keen eye for detail and a great memory. The role involves daily management and motivation of your team, driving results, identifying training gaps and putting solutions in place to ensure the experience for our customers is always excellent.
You will use your exceptional organisational skills to manage the workload within your team and be an escalation point for customers. You will have supervision of our accounts system and claims handlers as well as handling complaints.
As a key decision maker, it’s essential that you’re able to find answers independently and have a natural desire to get involved with all aspects of daily office life. We love adaptable and inquisitive individuals who thrive on a challenge!

What the role involves
- Taking responsibility for the day to day regulatory and sales management of the team.
- Providing feedback and coaching in a constructive way to the team, recording actions and following up as required.
- Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of NFU Mutual products and systems and acquiring the relevant licenses to fulfil your role.
- Reporting to the partners in all areas such as performance and risk.
- Promoting & managing the positive culture within the agency.
- Training and development of customer service team.
Benefits
- The salary will be £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience. The position will be full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a one hour lunch break.
- The holiday allowance is 25 days, plus bank holidays and you will also receive an additional days holiday to be taken on your birthday. Following probation, you will receive Bupa health cash plan benefits.
You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above including English Language and Mathematics. If you have previous experience in insurance, this would be advantageous but not a requirement.
