Monteney Primary is an inclusive school and pupils are safe and happy, Pupils know that everyone is different and respect people’s individuality. (Ofsted Good– March 2023) Monteney serves the Parson Cross and Shiregreen estates in the north of the city and approximately 30% of the pupils are deemed to be disadvantaged. The school has a new leadership team and are continuing to make progress towards raising standards and outcomes for all pupils. Monteney works closely with a range of external partners including the feeder secondary school, as well as Learners First and Learn Sheffield. Monteney is a graduated English Hub (Whiston Worrygoose) network school for early reading and phonics.
Expectations:
Monteney Primary is a large Primary School with a nursery, therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic team player who can work under pressure in a busy school office. The main focus of this post is to ensure the school has an efficient and effective administration service. You will be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school under the direction and with the support of the Trust Central team.
Applicants should:
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and adults
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with parents and carers who may not have English as their first language
- Be able to work within tight deadlines and cope well under pressure
- Be able to work well independently and use their initiative when completing tasks
- Have competent levels of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Be flexible
- Have good organisational skill
- Be highly motivated and hard working
- Be committed to providing an excellent administrative service in their own Academy and across the Trust.
