About the role

This Officer role will assist in the Highway Asset Management function, and in the monitoring of / reporting against the annual Programme.

They will assist and support the team in the development of highway asset management data and systems. They will working collaboratively with the Applications and Data Management team to interpret the data received from condition surveys provided by third parties, which will be used to produce plans and programmes, aligned to our asset management principles, for carriageway, footway and other associated assets.

About you

You will be skilled in working effectively with colleagues from all disciplines and in doing so will assist those colleagues in ensuring that timely and accurate data is available for presentation to the Senior Leadership Team through the Councils performance management monitoring system.

You will have practical knowledge, or relevant industry experience in a similar discipline (highway maintenance / construction / infrastructure management).

You will have excellent communication, presentation and data interpretation skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
