The role? 

EnerMech are looking for Riggers to join our Cranes and Lifting department on a permanent basis. This role will be to join our flying squad operating ad-hoc trips offshore from Aberdeen. You will receive a retainer salary plus company benefits and day rates for any trips you commence. Main duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the rigging / erection work scope is completed, in compliance with LOLER regulations and to a high standard of safety
  • Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
  • Understanding of and development of lifting plans
  • Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team
  • Raising applicable Permit to Work (PTW) in order to complete work scope in a controlled and safe manner
  • Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner

You are? 

To be successful for this position you will have previous experience in a rigging role and experience with inspection, service, repair & test of all rigging & lifting equipment. You will hold appropriate documented evidence confirming your trade, an OPITO Level 3 Rigging Assessment and SVQ Lifting Operations. You will also require a Level 3 NVQ Moving Construction Loads. A BOSIET/FOET and approved offshore medical is essential for this position.
