Offshore Telecoms/Scada Engineer

Role: Telecoms / SCADA Engineer

Location: Offshore UK

Rotation: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off

Start Date: March 2024

Duration: 12 Months + Possible Extension

Rates: £700 Daily Rate Inside IR35 via Umbrella + Travel Expenses

Clearance: BPSS

- MUST have Full UK Working Rights to be considered for this position

Description:

Roles and responsibilities:

• Fault investigation and repair on Fibre communication systems.
• End to end testing Fibre optic cables.
• SCADA signal testing.
• Work with commissioning engineers to establish and maintain communications throughout the commissioning phase of the project.

Requirements:

• Full UK Working Rights
• Offshore Certifications (Wind Industry Standard)
• Previous experience working within the wind industry or similar experience within substations.
• Knowledge of telecommunications and SCADA systems.
• Ability to carry out testing of fibres.
