O&M Technician (Electrical)

Hays Engineering are pleased to be assisting an organisation in Didcot with the recruitment of an O&M Technician (Electrical) to join their busy team.

Your New Role

You will contribute towards delivering on the day-to-day maintenance and operational requirements to maximise the safe, reliable, and commercial performance of the power station, where your duties and responsibilities will include routine PPM, fault diagnosis and breakdown recovery.

You will effectively collaborate with the engineering and outage teams, support plant shutdowns and recommissioning whilst working flexibly in a site team environment and experience a wide range of maintenance and operations responsibilities to the delivery of the continuous improvement agenda and to maximise the flexibility and potential of the station.

What You'll Need To Succeed

You will have experience in a wide range of discipline maintenance activities in the heavy, process or power industry, have strong interpersonal skills and be competent in the use of applicable business IT systems as well as demonstrable knowledge and experience of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, regulations and directives.

What You'll Get In Return

This role is offered with a salary between £44,000 - £53,000 per annum with good benefits on a permanent contract.
