Based in the Somerset area and looking to build a career in HR? Reed are working on an exciting role to join a HR team to support with coordinating and assisting confidential, complex and general admin duties.

As a HR Onboarding Coordinator, you will be tasked with coordinating the onboarding for new starters in the business, all the way from offer through to passing the security clearance screening and vetting process.

This role is based out of the exciting Hinkley Point C in Somerset. Due to its location, you cannot park on site. Therefore, free transport is provided via buses laid on to the site. You will be allocated a specific park and ride or bus stop location when you start based on radius from your home postcode, from a vast range of locations close to the M5 and HPC. This can vary from 30 minutes commute time, dependent on your location.

Hours: 08:00-16:15 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00-15:00 (Fri) – can be flexible, and once embedded into the team, will have the opportunity to look into some WFH days.

We are open on experience for this role, if you’ve come from working in a HR department, great! But if you’ve got the skills and attributes to show you’re extremely organised, able to manage time and deadlines due to the screening process involved and look after a big caseload of administrative work as our clients new starters numbers continue to increase as they grow, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll be involved with:
Coordinating onboarding for new candidates joining the business, following the Security Clearance process all the way through to new start, liaising with onsite team who owns the Screening & Vetting process
Be the first point of contact for all HR related queries on site and refer to the onsite HR Business Partner or Operational team member
Processing weekly starters and leavers in conjunction and issue relevant letters, and maintain this from a HR System and filing point of view
Administering HR-related documentation, including new starter pack and contracts of employment, ensuring that documents of personal records, pension, vehicle, life assurance, right to work and equal opportunity are accurately maintained
Ensuring the relevant HR & Payroll System is maintained accurately and complies with current legislation
Action all sickness records whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times, reporting any long-term absences to HR 
Arranging and assisting with note taking of formal and informal meetings such as disciplinary & grievance, and produce the relevant outcome letter to the employee, following a full process in line with the Company’s Policy & Procedure
Assisting with interviews and issue relevant correspondence in a timely manner.
Provide support with the wider HR team to ensure efficient delivery of HR Services to the business
Working alongside the Training Department to book new starts onto relevant mandatory training

Requirements:
Any previous experience of on-boarding of candidates through a screening process
Strong administrative and organisation skills
Able to coordinate and manage complex documentation
Ability to demonstrate effective prioritisation, time-management and workload planning skills
