NJR Recruitment are currently working in Partnership with an established and family friendly firm of Pension Administrators & Financial Planners based in Leicester. Due to an increased workload and new business increases, they are now looking to recruit an additional administrator to join their growing 'onboarding’ team. Working alongside the two BDM’s, a Senior & an additional Onboarding Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding new clients, being the first line of defence with regards to onboarding risk, and to
Accurately identify red flags or areas of concern and raise them with BDM’s.
This is an exciting and varied role that will include working on various projects and attending marketing events. Duties will consist of;
Onboarding
- Accurately on-board clients onto systems following set procedures
- Monitor work flow and prioritisation of new and outstanding cases
- Providing regular updates to internal stakeholders regarding clients onboarded and transfers being undertaken
- Reconciliation of bank feeds
- Providing analysis support on current trends
- Accurately on-board clients onto the systems following set procedures
- Monitor work flow and prioritisation of new and outstanding cases
- Assist other team members and cover for absence of other staff where required
Customer Service/IFA
- First point of contact to Client/IFA at application stage - Post Quote
- Primary contact for application pack queries - Post issuing
- Communicating with clients, financial advisors and other professional connections by letter, telephone, e-mail, and fax
- Liaise with internal teams and keep them up to date with onboarding functions
- Carrying out due diligence for new IFA and issuing Terms of Business
Marketing/Events
- Marketing related research such as competitors fees and services
- Editing of literature in line with changes such as fees
- Liaising with, and booking of networking events for BDEs including stand preparations
- Legislative Requirements & Compliance
- Awareness of, and compliance with, FCA regulations
- Compliance with HMRC, legislative and internal procedures
- Understanding and adhering to the principals of treating customers fairly
- Awareness of and compliance with anti-money laundering requirements
- Awareness of and compliance with Data Protection/GDPR
- Develop and maintain an understanding of current pension legislation
- Maintain electronic filing systems
- Use of external systems such as Origo Options, HMRC SSAS Registration
- Fully and accurately recording telephone conversations
- Use of OMNI administration system
- Updating all registers and ledgers in accordance with the procedures manual
- Photocopying and Scanning
Candidates applying for the role should be able to demonstrate really strong administration skills. You will have fantastic attention to detail, and should be a confident and proficient communicator. You will feel comfortable building relationship and speaking to prospective client when attending marketing events, and should enjoy talking about and offering company information at the same time.
