SalaryAtlantis Medical have a locum contract available for a Band 6 or 7 Oncology specialist OT
Oncology / palliative care / general medical experience.
Working as part of the Therapy and Social Work Team, the post holder will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and treatment of oncology patients with diverse, chronic presentations and highly complex needs due to their cancer diagnosis and/or treatment.
The role will include working with inpatients and outpatients, reviewing patients face-to-face, over the telephone and in our new Therapy and Wellbeing Gym.
Effective occupational therapy management will include admission avoidance, complex discharge planning, cognitive and physical rehabilitation, and supportive symptom management from diagnosis through to end of life care.
