Job Overview:The BBC is looking for an Online Content Creator to join its team of content producers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, informative and original content for the BBC's website and social media channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a good level of critical thinking, and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and informative content for the BBC's website and social media channels.- Research and write articles and features on a wide range of topics, including news, entertainment, arts and culture, lifestyle, and more.- Develop innovative content ideas and work collaboratively with other members of the team to create and deliver them.- Manage and maintain the BBC's Online Content archives.- Conduct interviews and attend events as required.- Monitor audience engagement and ensure that content is optimised for search.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or a related field.- At least 3 years of experience creating Online Content.- Excellent writing and editing skills.- A good level of critical thinking.- Strong research skills.- Experience working with content management systems.- Experience with SEO and analytics tools is desirable.
Salary and Benefits:The salary range for this position is between £10 and £25 per hour, depending on experience. The position is part-time and includes flexible working hours.
