SalaryWe are currently seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as an online tutor in the following area:
- Physics - GCSE & A-Level
As an online tutor, you will teach students following UK schools’ curriculum and teaching approach. We have opportunities for one-to-one tutorial sessions. Classes are normally 1 hour, plus preparation time and assignment marking. This is a remote working, part-time position, allowing you to work flexibly from home.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and interactive online tutoring sessions focused upon British English subject curriculum.
- Create personalized lesson plans and learning materials tailored to students’ academic needs and goals.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve and accelerate their learning.
- Prepare your own lesson material for each session.
- Grade student assignment works, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Utilize digital teaching and learning technologies such as Zoom, Google Drive, and various social networking platforms to deliver effective online learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, or a related field (or currently studying as an undergraduate or postgraduate Physics major).
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity and comfort with digital teaching and learning technology, including Zoom, Google Drive, and SNS platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students in an online learning environment.
- Flexibility with working hours to accommodate students' schedules, with students calling in from various time-zones.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment.
- Applicants must reside within the UK, or Ireland.
