Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children by providing educational support and guidance. Responsibilities:
- Educate and assist students in various subjects, including but not limited to math, science, English, and 11 plus subjects.
- Develop personalized lesson plans based on individual student needs and goals
- Provide group tutoring sessions up to 2 to 3 students enhance understanding and comprehension
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Utilize creative teaching techniques to engage students and promote active learning
- Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on student performance
- Collaborate with other tutors or educators to share resources and strategies
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge in the subject area(s) you will be tutoring
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
- Experience in special education is a plus
