Onshore Wind Engineering Project Manager

Spencer Ogden are seeking an Onshore Wind Engineering Project Manager to join a leading renewable developer. In this role you will manage project design processes, offering technical support during development, contracting, and construction phases in line with department directives and regulations. Ensure cost minimization, adherence to deadlines, and quality standards for projected assets. They are looking for a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering and experience across Onshore Wind Farms.

Responsibilities

Development Engineering:

Coordinate technical project preparation for renewable energy generation and electrical interconnection infrastructure.

- Provide technical support during the development phase as needed.

Electrical Interconnection Common Infrastructure Design:

Participate in designing electrical infrastructure for generation plants' interconnection to the electric network's common infrastructure.

- Prepare documentation for grid access and connection applications and grid code compliance. - Offer technical support in the consenting process.

Tender Engineering:

- Coordinate the preparation of technical packages for construction Request for Proposals (RfPs) for renewable energy generation plants and electrical interconnection infrastructure.

- Provide support to the Procurement Department in discussions with bidders and award negotiations.

Requirements

• Project manager/ coordinator experience
• Civil Engineering Experience
• Onshore Wind Farm experience
• Experience with roads and foundations
• 5-8 Years of experience
• Edinburgh office, hybrid working 3 days in the office
