Onsite Senior Full Stack IT Developer £45k
Pearson Carter are working with a company within the ticketing and live events industry. Because of their transparency and ethical business practices within this industry, they offer their customers the lowest booking fees on this market ultimately driving down the fees across the industry. They are seeking a Full Stack IT Developer to create high quality code for their web applications to help support our server and database infrastructure.
Responsibilities

- Based in their office in Oxford, you’ll form a key part of a small, dedicated, and enthusiastic team. n
- You’ll have the opportunity to work on both green field and legacy projects and will be responsible for all aspects of ongoing software development, from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, implementation and support. n
- Previous hands-on development experience and the ability to hit the ground running are essential. n
Experience
- n
- At least 3 years commercial development experience with PHP/HTML/CSS/JS/MySQL. n
- A strong grounding in Object Oriented programming. n
- Experience with Git and IntelliJ. n
- Experience with Linux server provisioning and support. n
- A thorough understanding of version control. n
- Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis, understand business requirements and design technical solutions to meet those requirements. n
- Vision for departmental direction and future road-mapping. n
- SQL database administration (ideally MySQL/MariaDb). n
- Data modelling. n
- Knowledge of the ticketing industry. n
Salary + Benefits
They offer a great salary up to £45,000 pa and provide 30 days paid holiday (incl. public holidays), rising annually to a maximum of 34 days after 4 years’ service.
Location
This company has an office based in Oxford, while this is a full-time, predominantly office-based position they offer a degree of flexibility around daily hours and home working.
