Smart Environmental Support Solutions are seeking an Onsite Recruitment Consultant to join our Environmental Support Services Division.

This role will entail overseeing a number of client sites, located in and between Musselburgh and Glasgow.

As an Onsite Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, working closely with our clients who are specialists in Waste Management. We are seeking an individual who is not only driven but also passionate about nurturing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

The Role

• You will support the smooth running of the facilities.
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with the clients.
• Managing the onsite flexible workforce, including staff rota’s, sickness, holiday and processing timesheets.
• Recruiting flexible workers and managing a pool of candidates to ensure the plants are fully staffed at all times.
• Carry out onsite inductions when required.
• Manage compliance and employee records.
• Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and to uphold the Company’s reputation for excellent service and compliance

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a recruitment background is essential
• Minimum of 2 years experience in blue-collar temporary recruitment
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety at work
• Understanding of waste and recycling collection operations is an advantage
• Must be able to demonstrate problem solving skills
• Excellent level of English, both spoken and written is essential
• Very good level of numeracy
• Ability to multitask while under pressure
• Flexible, adaptable approach is essential
