About The Role

Building upon the success of its AgorIP, All-Wales Intensive Learning Academy for Health & Social Care partnership, and wider City Region working the Centre is aiming to expand its portfolio for in support of the University’s internationalisation, civic mission and enterprise agendas.

To support the next stage of development, the Innovation Academy/I-Lab is looking to sustain AgorIP in a new form as a brokerage with highly-experienced individuals demonstrating a strong track-record in developing and realising a portfolio of opportunities.

We require an experienced administration officer with experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team to help develop innovation in all sectors in Wales.

The Agor team has, through the AgorIP project led technology transfer activities relating to commercial opportunities identified at Swansea University and beyond, including Health Boards, other Higher Education Establishments (HEIs). Agor expands this mission through alignment with the emerging range of City Region, and other Enterprise & Innovation activities being established with Faculty involvement.

This expansion creates a hybrid academic/professional services team to support development of innovation practice and skills. This role is an integral part of that team, providing the vital part of that activity, including administration and input to ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently.

The role is to be part of the Agor team to manage a portfolio of skills programmes opportunities at varying levels of maturity. This will involve, with the wider Agor team, interfacing with senior academics, executives and other stakeholders to take the appropriate actions. It requires the ability to work with various stakeholders, by showing clear organisational skills, understand the reporting and administrative processes of the funders. The role will also require the background research of opportunities, including to explore resourcing of the portfolio.

Fixed term to 20th November 2025, subject to SBCR funding

This position will be based at Bay Campus with relevant travel and remote working
