About the Role
A long-established Lloyd’s broker is looking for a Open Market Technician within their North American property team.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing documentation including MRC Slips, Certs and Debit Notes
- Preparing and typing of endorsements, letters and other correspondence
- Maintaining online filing and archiving systems
- Entering Data onto the Global system
- Obtaining Bureau Signings as applicable
- Processing Premium Bordereaux
- Chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade
- Liaising with clients to request information and chasing for outstanding funds
- Making payments to bureau under terms of trade and reconciling payments
- Arranging extension to terms of trade
- Calculating Profit Commissions
- Dealing with queries from Brokers and clients and escalating issues as appropriate to ensure timely and efficient problem resolution
- Providing regular feedback to Technical Team Leader regarding ongoing work
- Group rules and procedures, including maintaining accurate records
Key Skills & Experience
Our client is seeking someone who has experience in the US property markets ideally with experience which includes North American Property within a Lloyds Broker.
The candidate should have a can-do attitude, be personable and a good team player. Someone who is proactive, willingness to learn, diligent, positive and professional.
