OPERATIONAL ENT AND REG RISK

FIXED TERM CONTRACT
Do you have experience in OPERATIONAL RISK gained in the energy, financial or retail sector? If so, our Enterprise and Operational Risk team have a vacancy for somebody to join the team in Manchester for a fixed term contract of 12 months.
In this role you will support the business in managing and tracking risks, both commercial and operational across multiple products. This will provide an opportunity to gain exposure and experience within the energy sales sector.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Some of the key activities include:
- Identifying areas of Risk through our Incident Management System, taking accountability for responding to incidents, completing investigations, documenting outcomes, and recording resolutions
- Providing independent analysis of incidents focusing on the risks and associated controls with a view to providing recommendations for improvement
- Supporting with the provision of data for ad-hoc reports and material for management reporting
- Support the SEFE Energy business continuity programme with administrative tasks
- Support in the development of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSAs)
- Support key change projects
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Proven experience of OPERATIONAL RISK in the energy, financial or retail sectors
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to challenging deadlines
- Strong MS Office skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI (desirable)
- Degree level qualification in economics, maths or relevant STEM degree or equivalent experience
