SalaryFINTEC recruit is supporting an international engineering client and looking for an Operational Scheduling & Resource Coordinator . This is a permanent position, based in Inverness, Highland. Salary is GBP26,000 to GBP30,000 plus benefits. Supporting the operational and service and workshop engineering teams within the business. Hours of work are 0800 a.m. to 16:30 Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and allocation of engineering resource for customers, liaison and coordination with internal departments
- Timely delivery for engineering service responses for customers
- Planning and coordination in allocating engineering resource for all projects meeting contractual response times
- Ensuring that job allocations match engineer experience and expertise
- Maximise productivity with efficient planning of workloads to minimise travel time
- Input and update IT planning tool/system, arrange for relevant documentation for engineers and managers
- Liaison with the supply chain department to ensure materials are available ahead of work commencing
- Manage travel and accommodation requirements, including engineer vehicle maintenance
- Assisting with call handling and logging for telephone support
Skills and experience required for the Operational Scheduling & Resource Coordinator
- Experience of working within a service environment, having worked in a customer facing role
- Scheduling and resource allocation of engineers (or similar)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAGE 200, SAP, Oracle) and with Infor ERP systems or similar
- Be self motivated, organised and process driven with a strong attention to detail.
- Have a calm approach and work effectively under pressure in a busy work environment.
