Job description

Our client is looking for a key member of the operations team, who will be working closely with the Operations Manager, to plan logistics and staff allocations.
Being responsible for the company vehicles and trailers.
A confident Team Leader capable of driving vans and trailers to deliver as assortment of equipment.
A site team leader capable of managing product installations in a safe and professional manner.
To safeguard health and safety procedures and ensure all staff on site comply with company policy.
Main Purpose of the Job:
Daily planning with operations team to organise transport and staffing for all jobs.
Managing the fleet of vans and trailers for safe operation - servicing and MOT inspections and maintenance tracker.
Deputising for the Operations Manager.
Driving vans/trailers and HGV’s as required to deliver equipment.
Site Team Leader - Installing and removing equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Main Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ensure all jobs are completed to the high standards the company needs to maintain.
Driving as required to deliver and collect equipment.
Be a team leader responsible for your team with installations / de-rigs.
Ensure all equipment is maintained, stored and transported in a suitable and safe manner.
Personal Attributes - Essential for the Role:
* Self-Motivated
* Organizational skills / ability to multi task & prioritize
* Good leadership skills with the ability to delegate and motivate
* Management / supervisory experience
* Happy to work occasional unsociable hours and occasional overnights away
* Must hold a UK driving license
On call - As a key manager of the business, you will be on call 13 weekends per year (or 1 in 4).
This will include the following responsibilities:
* Be available as a Supervisor on either Saturday or Sunday if required
* Carry out any visits if required
* Respond to any emergency call-outs and ensure you are capable of taking calls and driving if required
You will have use of a company van for on calls. This will be a crew van or pick-up whenever possible.
Special Requirements
Trailers B & E and C+1
To work weekends as required to satisfy business needs – (minimum 2 days / month between May – September)
To work overtime as required to meet the business demands
Only take one week (5 days) of holiday entitlement between May – September

Manual Handling and Working at heights (Face to Face)
