My high-profile banking client are recruiting for an Ops BA with experience in financial services/legal. The role is initially full time in the office and will eventually revert to a hybrid position work on site 3 days a week and 2 days from home, working normal office hours. The role will be for a 6-month contracting position.
The ideal candidate will be the Primary contact for customers and all groups within the organisation for small scale projects.
* Responsible for end-to-end project management that includes scope management and estimation.
* Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and with minimum defects.
* Adheres to methodologies adopted by the firm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Project management via creation and maintenance of projects, plans, schedule effort estimation and tracking.
* Liaison between customers and internal groups to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget.
* Ensures project delivery in conformance with company software development life cycle methodologies.
* Conducts status meetings and facilitates issues resolution and risk mitigation.
* Assists in providing status reports to senior staff in larger scale projects.
* Works with business users to define business requirements and create functional specifications.
