An award-winning, luxury furniture brand is looking for a positive, lateral thinking Operations Coordinator with excellent attention to detail, to join their growing team.

As an Operations Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the company operations, managing the made-to-order products, ensuring streamlined operations and precise stock tracking from purchase to delivery.

All training and coaching will be provided to understand product types, supply variables, and internal systems.

Main responsibilities for this Operations Coordinator:

  • Check and enter purchase orders for made-to-order and custom products.
  • Confirm orders from workshops and keep the system updated.
  • Place purchase orders for non-core products.
  • Oversee stock order shipments.
  • Plan supplier schedules, responding to purchasing patterns and sales forecasts.
  • Ensure suppliers meet agreed deadlines, coordinate with workshops for urgent orders, and collaborate with the Logistics Team for customer deliveries.
  • Manage goods in and out of the system efficiently.
  • Provide coverage for the Procurement team during holidays and busy periods.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure Shopify stock is current.
  • Monitor and communicate with online customers regarding orders.
  • Address any product or delivery issues with customers and find solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Production teams to resolve customer product issues efficiently and within budget.
  • Track replacement items and necessary repairs for reporting on internal loss and recovery.
  • Work with external system providers (e.g., Workhorse, Pipedrive, Google Suite) to ensure the smooth development of systems, resolve issues, and keep the team informed of changes or training needs. Provide regular system performance check reports.

Key requirements for this Operations Coordinator position:

  • Operations, product/project management or administration excellent that has required joined up thinking and attention to detail.
  • Proven expertise in entering and managing data.
  • Proficiency in working with an inventory and retail management system would be ideal.
  • Demonstrated ability to see projects through to completion.
  • Proficiency in managing paperwork, ensuring its completeness and accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and self-motivation.
  • Passion for quality and luxury, with an interest in design would be beneficial.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Exposure to product production/retail is a significant advantage.
  • Understanding of production flow is a strong benefit.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both Apple Mac and Microsoft Office.
