Salary: £39,415 - £45,136 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The role is an experienced electrical technician to support the Operations logistics team to improve the technical and quality assurance of materials and assets used in our SHE Transmission Business. The successful candidate will report to the Transmission Operations Material Manager.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to logistics team at our various locations.
- Ensure all materials are stored as per manufacturer or SHE Transmission specifications and policies.
- Interface with subject matter experts to help deliver additional specifications or policies.
- Ensure all technical documentation/records are recorded and maintained.
- Advise SSEN Transmission project teams on the retention of proposed decommissioned plant and equipment and provide technical interface with Asset Management team for obsolete equipment.
- Assist Material Manager with the spares forecasting.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience of HV plant and equipment
- I/T Knowledge
- Financial awareness
- Good verbal and written communication skills
