Hays are proud to be working on behalf as a leading Children\'s provider who is looking to appoint a Operations Manager to assist the organisation in growing! Within this role you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the operational aspects of the company. With 4 existing homes and ambitious growth plans, this role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Service Expansion: Collaborate with senior leadership to drive the growth of our children's provider services.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all homes meet regulatory requirements, KPIs, and Children's Homes regulations.
- Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets to optimise resources.
- Operational Oversight:
- Home Management: Support Registered Managers across the 4 homes, providing guidance and supervision.
- Incident Reporting: Notify and manage incidents in line with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Staffing: Ensure staffing levels and competencies align with home requirements.
- Relationship Building:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Registered Managers, professionals, and external partners.
- Community Representation: Represent our organisation positively within the community.
- Compliance and Safeguarding:
- Legislation and Policies: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and ensure compliance.
- Safeguarding: Safeguard children's welfare and promote best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Management Experience: Previous experience as an Area/Operations Manager or a very experienced consultant.
- Registered Manager: Alternatively, if you're a Registered Manager looking to step up, we welcome your application.
- NVQ Level 5 in Management: Hold a recognised qualification (Level 5 or equivalent).
- Leadership Skills: Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and team management.
