OPERATIONS MANAGER / SITE YARD SUPERVISOR REQUIRED FOR A CHALLENGING ROLE AT A STATE-OF-THE-ART WASTE PROCESSING SITE  

TITLE: Operations Manager / Site Yard Supervisor - Waste and Recycling 

SALARY: £35-40K with the opportunity to develop a lasting career 

LOCATION: Barnsley 

PREVIOUS TITLES: Operations Supervisor, Site Foreman, Production Team Leader, Shift Supervisor, Quarry Supervisor, Plant Supervisor, Yard Foreman, MRF Supervisor, MBT Team Leader, Transfer Station Supervisor, Chargehand ideally in a heavy industry such as Quarry, Waste Management, Scrap Metal Recycling, Steel, Biomass, Aggregates

ROLE: Operations Manager / Site Yard Supervisor - Waste and Recycling 

Front-line management of the team 
Management of the material on to site
Monitoring and maintaining the throughput of the plant, working with the Operations Manager to drive production 
Making sure you and the team have the resources required to get the job done.
You will ensure company safety, quality and environmental policy is upheld. 

EXPERIENCE: Operations Manager / Site Yard Supervisor - Waste and Recycling 
You will have had line management experience or responsibility for a team

You may have experience or licences on mobile plant equipment 

Your background will have been on the site floor rather than office-based, ideally in a heavy industry such as Quarry, Waste Management, Scrap Metal Recycling, Steel, Biomass, Aggregates etc.

You will have a good attitude to safety and the use of PPE with IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications ideal

You may also have a WAMITAB / COTC qualification.
The company will offer support to gain this qualification if you do not have it
