We are looking for an individual with outstanding organisational and communication skills to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic, working closely with the consultants, staff and the existing management team to deliver high quality patient care.
Candidates should have strong numeracy and accuracy skills and be proficient with Xero- Cloud. ATT qualification and/or previous NHS finance experience (band 5) are desirable, but not essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of operations management such as finance management, invoicing for self-pay and insurance patients, organising payments, organising rota, human resources. Liaising with the third-party suppliers and services (such as liaising with the laboratory finance team)
The post holder will ensure compliance with CQC and Health & Safety requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Substantial experience working Front Office Hospital/Healthcare industry
- Experienced Management Accountant/ Experience in an operational role
- Provide and develop timely financial information.
- BA(Hons) in Accounting and finance
- Qualified ACCA/ CIMA
- Detailed knowledge and experience of all processes within patient administration
- Detailed knowledge and experience of billing, charging and cashiering procedures
- Ability to gain a detailed knowledge of Practice manager systems/ Xero affiliated systems
- Able to prepare monthly management accounts and reconciliations
- Extensive experience in invoicing in healthcare (Healthcode, Xero, insurance companies)
- Experienced as a Financial Controller/ Assistant Financial Controller
- System knowledge of Xero
- Strong IT literacy, Excellent Excel skills
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and services (laboratory testing facility)

Salary £40 - £50k dependent on experience
