You will……
- To ensure that all local and global KPI’s are met in full – both service and productivity.
- To ensure strong operational planning, control and monitoring of all team member performances leading to an improvement in accuracy and productivity
- To ensure a continuous improvement LEAN / Operational Excellence culture throughout the distribution centre maximising efficiency
- To ensure a safe and secure environment across all areas of the distribution centre in line with current Health and Safety guidelines and 5S Culture
- Own individual projects with defined timelines
- Work with and train others as appropriate to create, capture, organise and store process knowledge, in a manner that supports effective and efficient retrieval and re-use
- To support the operational management team as needed in all areas of the business.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have…
- Experience managing a team in FMCG environment
- Proven track record of successful management and accomplishments implementing productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong bias for action, can communicate vision clearly and be a driver of change.
- Basic understanding of ERP / WMS / MHS systems
