Operations Support Clerk

Newstaff Employment Services are looking for an Operations Support Clerk for a Blue-Chip Company based in Bedford.

Job Description:

• Assist with clerical duties within Inbound/Outbound departments.
• Ensure Admin tasks are completed effectively/accurately according to DHL process.
• Create and assign inbound/outbound loads accurately.
• Process paperwork quickly and accurately
• Work in small team, use own initiative and work under pressure.
• Confident at communicating both face-face and over the telephone, this includes internal/external personnel.
• Perform additional duties as required by the management team.
• Have an understanding on how Warehousing/Logistics work.
• Actively encourage compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• Training will be given for the right person

You must be:

• Computer literate able to learn new systems quickly.
• Exceptional communication skills both in person and over the telephone.
• Good level of English both written and verbal
• Dedicated and committed approach to accuracy and teamwork.
• Can-do attitude with a passion about doing things the right way.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts which will include weekends on a rotational basis

Details:

• Working 5 out of 7 days (includes weekends)
• Rotating shifts – 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm
• Own transport advantage due to no public transport to site
• Happy to undergo a Drug and Alcohol test.
• Immediate start for the right candidate after interview process
• Rate of pay £12.45 per hour.
• Temp to Perm position – so must be looking for a full-time/permanent position.
