Newstaff Employment Services are looking for an Operations Support Clerk for a Blue-Chip Company based in Bedford.
Job Description:
- Assist with clerical duties within Inbound/Outbound departments.
- Ensure Admin tasks are completed effectively/accurately according to DHL process.
- Create and assign inbound/outbound loads accurately.
- Process paperwork quickly and accurately
- Work in small team, use own initiative and work under pressure.
- Confident at communicating both face-face and over the telephone, this includes internal/external personnel.
- Perform additional duties as required by the management team.
- Have an understanding on how Warehousing/Logistics work.
- Actively encourage compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
- Training will be given for the right person
You must be:
- Computer literate able to learn new systems quickly.
- Exceptional communication skills both in person and over the telephone.
- Good level of English both written and verbal
- Dedicated and committed approach to accuracy and teamwork.
- Can-do attitude with a passion about doing things the right way.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts which will include weekends on a rotational basis
Details:
- Working 5 out of 7 days (includes weekends)
- Rotating shifts – 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm
- Own transport advantage due to no public transport to site
- Happy to undergo a Drug and Alcohol test.
- Immediate start for the right candidate after interview process
- Rate of pay £12.45 per hour.
- Temp to Perm position – so must be looking for a full-time/permanent position.
