This Operations Team Leader - Nights position requires an individual with a strong focus on logistics to ensure effective and efficient operations. The role involves managing the flow of goods, overseeing the supply chain, and implementing strategic plans. The role is for 7 months fixed term contract and the shift pattern for the role is Thursday to Monday, starting from 1.30am, completing a 42 hours a week.
Description
The Operations Team Leader will be responsible for the following
- Leading and managing a team to meet company objectives.
- Ensuring all logistics operations are carried out efficiently.
- Implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Tracking and reporting team performance.
- Providing training and guidance to team members.
- Addressing issues related to logistics and team performance.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Profile
A successful Operations Team Leader should have:
- A background in retail and knowledge of logistics.
- Proven experience in a similar Team Leader role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to strategise and implement operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of industry regulations.
- ability to commit to the shift pattern - Thursday - Monday Night shift pattern, 1.30am start
