Operations Team Member

For this unique position, we require a candidate who is a fluent Russian language speaker, with excellent all round communication skills.

Option A Ltd. require an Operations Team Member to complement our existing team.

Located adjacent to Pease Bay and set against the stunning Berwickshire East Coast,

Your duties will be wide and varied and you will support the needs of your team and your workers.

Tasks may include:

• Ensuring workers are in the right place at the right time.
• Communication and translation to support the team.
• Accommodation checks to ensure worker safety and comfort.
• Worker welfare – Giving advice and answering questions to support their needs.
• Health & Safety checks
• Transport logistics

We have a diverse, multilingual work force and this is where your language skills will be needed.

We value our work force, and it is vital to ensure we are able to communicate quickly and accurately with our teams.

Many of our workers have come from overseas on an Agricultural Visa. You will help our team to support not just their employment needs but their welfare whilst they are in our employment. This could be guidance on banking, assistance towards GP's or dentists if required, or simply sharing local knowledge.

The most important element is a genuine desire to support the needs of our workforce.

You must be a good all-round communicator, able to build trust with a wide range of people and personalities. You will be supported by a dedicated team, working across multiple branches.

We value people who can use their initiative and judgement to solve problems, and this will be of equal importance to your previous experience.

You will carry out most of your work from Monday to Friday, although weekend availability is a part of this role, generally on a rotational basis.

The seasonality of our business means at peaks times, there will be an expectation to be more flexible with your availability, where additional hours may be required.

• We are also keen to hear from candidates whose background may be from a different sector, but have a skill set we would value.
• Russian language is a prerequisite to being considered for the role.

Due to the location you will need to have a driving license, or live within a realistic commutable distance.

The salary package for this role is between £25000 and £30000 per annum.
