Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care to patients under supervision
- Participate in clinics, ward rounds, and surgical procedures
- Assist in the diagnosis and management of ophthalmic conditions
- Collaborate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in teaching and training activities for junior staff and medical students
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuous professional development activities
Requirements:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Minimum of 2 years of postgraduate experience in ophthalmology
- Completion of Core Surgical Training (CST) or equivalent
- Demonstrated interest and commitment to ophthalmology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
