An Operational Resilience Manager is required for a 12-month fixed-term contract to review the existing Operational Resilience model and create and implement a new framework to meet the March 2025 regulatory deadline at a leading bank based in London.
You'll focus/need experience in:
- Operational business resilience and continuity of all important business services and functions to align and meet regulatory expectations and milestones.
- Defining, managing, improving, maintaining and updating Operational Resilience processes, systems, monitoring, and MI reporting capability, including review and upkeep of all framework documents and policies for the department.
- Managing an Operational Resilience/Risk/BCM function from a bank.
- Ongoing assessment and testing activities with the business owners to demonstrate and report on the ability to operate consistently within agreed tolerances by the 2025 regulatory deadline.
- Report to various committees and define on-going goals, objectives and initiatives.
- Liaise with all areas of the bank to develop effective and documented Operational Resilience and Business Continuity plans.
- Work with all functional business areas to identify, map and set impact tolerances for all important business functions within the bank.
- Working knowledge, and ideally implementation, of resilience industry standards: (BCM) ISO22301, (Tech Res/DR) ISO27031, (Crisis Management) BS11200, (Organisational Resilience) ISO22316, (Risk Management) ISO31000
- Familiarity with relevant laws and industry regulations, including SYSC, PRA, FCA and Bank of England regulations.
