Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Optical Manager to join our team. As an Optical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our optical department. This includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise optical staff, including opticians and technicians
- Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
- Provide training and guidance to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Maintain inventory of optical products and supplies
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate eyewear and lenses
- Conduct fittings and adjustments for eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Perform basic repairs on eyewear as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Optical Manager or similar role
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to optics
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Proficient in using optical equipment and software

Salary: £35,000.00 per year
