Form of workOur client is a design-led woven & jersey manufacturing business and they are currently in need of an Pattern Cutter/Garment Technologist who has experience working with the OPTITEX system
They are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join their team, who has ideally worked with 2d & 3d Optitex system. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a successful business who supplies to customers such as River Island, Monsoon and Urban Outfitters
The right candidate will be joining an enthusiastic team and must be highly skilled on the technical aspect as well as having great creative flair.
The Candidate:
- The candidate should be proficient at working on the OPTITEX system and an advantage would be some experience working 3D.
- Minimum of 5 years pattern cutting experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of garment construction
- Experienced in pattern amendments after fit sessions
- Excellent understanding of sizing and fitting.
- A strong ability to build an effective work relationship with buying , merchandising, the design team and pattern room
- Excellent attention to detail
- Multi-product experience
- Excellent communicator
- Great logical and proactive approach to problem solving
