Humberside Police are looking for 2 individuals to join their team within the Professional Standards Department. This exciting new role of Organisational Learning Officer requires the successful candidates to be responsible for the delivery of the Organisational Learning activity force wide. You will work closely with the Organisational Learning Inspector to ensure all engagement is relevant, focused, and targeted.
The role will require you to also work with the force’s Initial Complaints Resolution Team and Professional Standards Analyst, looking for misconduct themes and repeat individuals and departments, utilising these results to conduct bespoke prevent interventions.

What is required?
- Is educated to an A Level standard (Level 3) or has significant working experience in a relevant field.
- Understands the Humberside Police Policies and Procedures in relation to misconduct matters.
- Experience of working in a confidential environment/with sensitive material.
- Is able to analyse and critically discuss complex material in the form of a report remaining concise and well balanced whilst making specific recommendations when necessary.
- Displays a confident and positive approach when faced with frustration, remaining calm and able to deal with several issues at once.
- Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritise workload, making the best use of available resources.
- Shows a realistic and logical approach to solving problems.
- Can collate, analyse and evaluate complex information grasping all the relevant factors and weighing up all the possibilities to reach well-reasoned conclusions, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
