This is an exciting opportunity for two motivated, empathetic and adaptable outdoor instructors to share their love of the outdoors with our clients on a permanent, full time basis.
Thornbridge Outdoors is Sheffield City Council’s outdoor learning centre located near Bakewell in the Peak District. Our mission is ‘to widen the horizons of young people through real outdoor adventures in the Peak District’.
Applicants should have a passion for outdoor learning, experience leading outdoor activities and the drive to be able to deliver the full range of activities offered at the centre.
Your main role will be to run high quality outdoor education sessions for a range of different groups at our centre, in various venues across the Peak District and on occasion at schools. Activities that the centre delivers include mountain biking, canoeing, high ropes courses, caving/mine exploration, climbing, problem solving, abseiling, hillwalking and bushcraft.
For further information about the post or to arrange a visit to the centre please contact Ed Allaway on 0114 205 6241 or email ed.allaway@sheffield.gov.uk
