OUR LEARNING STRATEGY

Skills for Nature

Programmes within this theme create green skills pathways andopportunities for young people to find out about the practical things they can do to contribute toenvironmental improvement – building skills, positivity about the future and a sense of agency, enabling young people to make a real impact.

There are skills shortages in the land-based sectors (e.g. forestry, ecology, agriculture) – theTrust is passionate about supporting young people gain the qualifications they need to access theseroles, increase employability and wellbeing, and help build the future workforce needed to achieveenvironmental goals.
