Outpatient Staff Nurse - Full-Time - Up to £38,500 - Private Hospital - Kingston upon Thames

An outstanding Private Hospital invites you to join their dedicated team as a Staff Nurse in the welcoming Outpatient Department. This role provides a unique opportunity for you to deliver exceptional nursing care to our diverse patient population. Outpatients Nurse Responsibilities:
• Take charge of effective department management in the absence of the Sister.
• Implement and uphold the hospital's policies and procedures.
• Deliver individualized patient care with efficiency and courtesy.
• Develop clinical practice and continuously enhance professional competence.
• Collaborate with consultant users and other healthcare disciplines to ensure high-quality service.
• Promote and implement the hospital's Quality Assurance System.
• Uphold NMC registration through revalidation, adhering to the NMC Code Standards.
• Work collaboratively within a dedicated team to meet patient needs while following hospital policies.
• Ensure the respect of patient dignity, safety, and well-being.
• Adhere to codes of confidentiality and loyalty.
• Participate in the evaluation of nursing policies and procedures.
• Follow established procedures for Fire, Infection Control, CPR, Health and Safety, and Manual Handling.
• Attend mandatory training updates annually.
• Perform delegated duties within the scope of authority.
• Stay current on professional and clinical developments through training, research, and development.
• Behave with integrity and dignity in support of the Director of Clinical Services and the hospital.
Outpatients Nurse Qualifications and Knowledge:
• Registered Nurse (Adult) Part 1 of the NMC register.
• Teaching and mentoring skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• 6 months continuous post-registration experience.
• Skills and Aptitude:
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Attention to detail.
• Numerate.
• Organizational skills.
• Phlebotomy skills.
• Familiarity with current professional issues and relevant research.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to personal and professional development.
• Flexible and responsive to change.
