About the Service / DepartmentHestia is the largest provider of support to potential victims of trafficking in the UK. A dynamic service celebrating innovation and high engagement from service users.Outreach Advocates provide a high-quality emotional and practical frontline support to individuals who may have experienced trafficking and modern slavery, including sexual and criminal exploitation, domestic servitude, and other forms of exploitation.About the role Hold a caseload of service users who are recognized as potential victims of trafficking within the National Referral Mechanism (NRM).Advocate on behalf of service users to ensure access to Europe Convention of Action Against Trafficking (ECAT)* rights and help them navigate through the NRM*.Identify and assess any risks; & put in place appropriate safeguarding measures in response to these risks.About you Creative and engaging approach to advocacy.Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.Innovative ideas to deliver quality, community based key work sessions.Excellent writing Skills.Ability to cope with stressful situations and professionally deal with emergencies.Independent work, managing schedule, managing deadlines and an ability to prioritize urgent matters.Proficient in using a computer and working on a database.Proficient in using Microsoft Teams, Excel, PPW and Word.Capacity to handle emotional and sometimes stressful work.Conf
