Salary Are you experienced within the Drug & Alcohol sector? If so, we may have the perfect role for you! We’re currently representing a leading charitable organisation who are looking for a Recovery Worker to join their Outreach team based from High Wycombe and work on a permanent basis.
Within your role you will be working to aid service users treatment and access to community resources, increasing in their recovery potential. You’ll also be working with their families and friends to help them reintegrate back into their communities. Other duties will include: Carrying out assessments, formulating and updating care plans, working with external stakeholders, advising on the impact of drug and alcohol related harm on family life and promote positive family involvement in recovery along with other duties.
The manager is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic recovery coordinator to join the team, you will need at least 6 months experience within similar roles in order to be considered for this position. You will have and manage your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how they can help service users, developing plans to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.
Key Duties
* Delivering effective psycho-social interventions to drug and alcohol users within a community setting
* Managing a defined caseload as agreed with the service manager
* Supporting a service user through their treatment journey from beginning to end
* Maintaining accurate records
