SEMH Outreach Teaching Assistant
Plumstead, South East London
GBP(Apply online only) per week (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: January 2024

This Outstanding Primary Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) school, based in Plumstead are looking for a dedicated, highly adaptable, experienced and energetic practitioner to work with pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties. You will be supporting Primary School pupils This full-time Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent. The successful candidates will be supporting mainstream schools in dealing with challenging and difficult behaviour providing expert support in helping pupils get back on track. We assist teachers with the process of changing a child s behaviour and giving professional advice

Requirements:

  • Full Driving License essential.
  • Experience supporting Primary School pupils desirable but not essential
  • A passion for the progress of Primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Proactive, Engaging, passionate approach to working with SEN pupils
