Job Title: Outreach Tutor- SEN/SEMH

Focus: Maths & English
Location: Newham
Salary Scale: £100-£200 per day (Fully qualified Teachers £150+)
Start date: ASAP

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Outreach Tutor to join a client school in Newham. This rewarding role involves working closely with children who require additional support to overcome their learning barriers and achieve their full potential.

Experienced Tutors and Fully Qualified Teachers from the UK are encouraged to apply for this role.

Desirables:

  • Must be able to teach English and Maths
  • Must be able to work with students with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH and more
  • Must be available to teach Monday to Friday, from 8.30am-4pm

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to children with SEN/SEMH
Develop and implement individualised learning plans
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and report on student progress
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best

Job Requirements:

✨ Proven experience working with children with SEN/SEMH
Strong understanding of various SEN/SEMH conditions and effective teaching strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
️ Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed
