Outsourcing Manager

Marks Sattin are proud to be working in partnership with a boutique accounting and financial reporting firm, who are based in St. Albans and are on the search for an Outsourcing Manager.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical challenge and variety of work associated with audit, and who is now looking for greater flexibility, a better work-life balance, and an exciting opportunity to help build the future of the fast-growing firm.

Their client base is made up of a range of SMEs and includes manufacturers, professional service firms, IT developers, property developers, hospitality businesses and not for profit entities. You will be in direct contact with clients face-to-face, over the phone/video meetings and by email, and so excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

About the role:

In this role you will work on a wide variety of complex client projects, you will have responsibility for a full portfolio of SME general practice clients and will take full responsibility for the clients outsourcing requirements.

You will be commercial and proactive in fee development and regularly attend networking and business development events.

You can expect a lot of autonomy in this role, so we are looking for people who will take initiative and seek out opportunities to continuously improve ways of working, whilst also supporting your own professional development.

Desired knowledge & experience:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

• Strong VAT knowledge

• Experience of undertaking client projects from planning to completion

• Experience of coaching & delegation to more junior members of the team effectively

• Confidence in challenging yourself & others to complete high quality documentation

• Experience of writing technical papers & reports, and presenting their results to clients

Salary

• £55k to £65k
