Overhead Crane Operator Forge & Heat Treatment Department

Job Summary
Working as part of a team you will be responsible for the crane driving, slinging duties, despatch
operations within the GFM department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
 Overhead (Cab) crane driving in the GFM forge and Heat Treatment departments.
 Pendant/remote driving in the GFM forge and Heat Treatment departments
 Slinging duties in the GFM forge and Heat Treatment departments
 General Housekeeping duties
 Loading and unloading of material using crane and forklift truck.
 Despatching of material from the GFM department with relevant paperwork
 Receipt inspection of incoming material and completing material inspection
documentation for sub-contract work
 Entering information onto the internal computer system
 Assisting with Heat Treatment operations within the GFM
 Perform pre-shift crane checks
 Generate STOP cards
