Oxbridge Graduates Wanted! Are you an Oxford or Cambridge Graduate looking for a new role for September? A lovely school in Tottenham are especially interested in meeting Oxbridge graduates for coaching roles in a variety of subjects. The school in question offer lots of opportunities for progression, including the chance to complete a formal teaching qualfiication. Within this role, you would be working with Sixth form students at an academically thriving school in Tottenham, North-East London. As an academic coach your role will take on many forms. You will work on a 1-1 and small group basis with A-level students to help them improve their subject knowledge. You will also work with the class on areas they arew struggling with, revision tactics and other areas where additional guidance is needed. A large proportion of their students apply for Oxbridge, and the school are keen to employ individuals who have succeffully applied to Oxbridge to assist with this.

As an academic coach, you will be supporting these students to set them up for success. They strongly believe that when their students are properly supported, they will thrive. This is an opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive and uplifting environment. You will go through a well-structured and highly beneficial training programme, and after a year in the role you are given the opportunity to undertake a formal teaching qualification. This role would therefore highly benefit a recent graduate who is looking to go into teaching.

You will need:

- An undergraduate degree from either Oxford or Cambridge

- Minimum A grades at A-level, as well as a strong understanding of the A-level curriculum

- Experience working with children/young people in some capacity

- A desire to train as a teacher in the near future & have a career in education

- An understanding of the barriers some students may face
