Packaging Administrator

Overview:

We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Supply Chain team in the role of Packaging Administrator. This position will be part time and will be reporting to the Packaging Manager.

Some of the key tasks will include:

• Maintain packaging specification library and ensure compliant with audit requirements
• Record and maintain databases for both government agencies and retailers
• Conduct regular mass balance on packaging items in conjunction with stores
• Handle packaging quality issues
• Assist with packaging trials in the factory and record results
• Check dimensions and design of packaging items

To be successful in this role we think you will need the following skills and experience:

• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal format with internal and external stakeholders at various levels within the organisation.
• Ability to multitask and understand departmental priorities.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills.
• Computer literate with a working knowledge of all Microsoft office packages – familiarity with SAP system is desirable.
• Teamwork skills.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 20 hours per week (working days and start and finish times can be flexible to meet the needs of the candidate with consideration for the needs of the role).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,351.23-£28,000.00 per year
