Description
- Support the Manager - Packaging, 3rd Party to develop packaging strategies to optimise spend
- You will support on RFQ/RFI and provide analysis and recommendation to optimise costs
- You will your own buying area
- Be accountable for developing deep fundamental and technical market analysis for all packaging material
- You will liaise with key suppliers to help build market insights
- Support key supplier negotiations through insights and analysis
- Review opportunities to take cost out through initiatives
- Support the annual budget process and identifying risk & opportunities
- Deliver packaging scorecards for key suppliers
Profile
- To be successful as Join my clients business as Packaging Buyer/Analyst FMCG in Leicester you will have;
- 1+ years Negotiation skills
- Ideally with experience in packaging
- Commercial Understanding
- Strong and proven analytical skills
- Supplier management experience
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced culture of change
- Stakeholder management
