Job description

This Packaging Coordinator role provides an opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Supply Chain department within the FMCG industry. Based in Grangemouth, the role involves managing multiple packaging projects across both branded and own label portfolio.

Description

  • To ensure that the development of all componentry fully meet our pre-agreed specifications and quality standards to drive improved manufacturing line efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to forecast material needs.
  • Regularly update the supply chain management system with accurate data.
  • Ensure compliance with company's sustainability standards in all packaging materials.
  • To work with brand marketing, Legal and design agencies to provide packaging guidance and solutions, whilst ensuring artwork is signed-off in a timely manner to maintain project timelines.
  • Liaise with different departments to streamline packaging processes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new packaging designs.
  • Assist in the resolution of any packaging-related issues.
  • To champion and drive sustainable solutions for brand packaging to increase global market share

Profile

  • An understanding of the FMCG industry and its supply chain processes.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Understanding of packaging and print preferable.
  • Organised, methodical, logical with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work cross functionally and collaborative on a high number of fast paced and complex projects..
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • A commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices.
