Packaging Studio Operative

As a Packaging Studio Operative, you are responsible for a diverse set of tasks related to carton production and packaging systems. Your responsibilities encompass the creation of mock samples for cartons, and actively participating in the design and development of both cartons and packaging systems. You are also engaged in the exploration of sustainable packaging technologies, reflecting a commitment to environmentally conscious practices. Additionally, you will conduct production trials using printed products to generate samples, ensuring the highest quality standards. The role extends to customer service and administrative duties for assigned customers, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to client management. Moreover, my problem-solving skills come into play as I address various challenges that may arise in the dynamic field of packaging. With a keen interest in packaging trends and solutions, you remain attuned to industry developments and innovations.

Location: Site Based (St Ives, PE27 3LP)

Hours of Work: Full Time, Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 17:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 16:00pm (1 hour lunch break)

Packaging Studio Operative Requirements:

* Experience in Packaging Design and CAD would be beneficial, but not essential (full training would be given)
* Good eye for detail
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Good understanding of quality standards
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines and handle a wide variety of responsibilities

* Artios CAD
* Illustrator
* Microsoft Office Suite
